Thefts from Vehicles Reported

RICHMOND - The Richmond Police Department is investigating reports of two recent thefts from parked vehicles.
Theft from Vehicle: On 01/31/2010, a resident in the 300 block of Kristin Drive reported that a Mio GPS unit and a case containing approximately 50 CDs and DVDs had been stolen from her parked vehicle during the overnight hours. There were no signs of forced entry. Estimated loss: $400.00 (0610)
Theft from Vehicles: On 01/31/2010, two residents in the 400 block of Jason Drive reported that their vehicles had been unlawfully entered during the overnight hours and items were stolen. Both vehicles were unlocked at the time of the theft. An iPod was stolen from one vehicle and a credit card from the other. Estimated loss: $200.00 (0603 & 0604)
