Not Lovin' It: Suspect Chased Down at McDonald's

Shoplifting Arrest: On 12/06/2017 an officer was flagged down in the parking lot of Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Store employees stated that a female fled the area on foot after shoplifting some merchandise. The officer began searching the area, and eventually located the subject in the McDonald’s parking lot. Officers arrested 21 year old Frances Stamper of Irvine KY and charged her with Theft by Unlawful Taking Shoplifting $500 or more.

Theft Arrest: On 12/11/2017 Investigators arrested 36 year old Jonas Murphy of Berea KY and charged him with Theft of Motor Vehicle $500 or more. Murphy took a vehicle on 11/29/2017, which has still not been recovered.

Fleeing or Evading Police: On 12/14/2017 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a male subject in the store with an active arrest warrant. They located him inside of the store, but he fled on foot once they attempted to speak with him. A short foot chase ended in the parking lot where the subject wrestled with the officers before being taken into custody. Officers charged 27 year old Vincent Jones of Richmond KY and charged him with Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.

Alcohol Intoxication: On 12/15/2017 officers were called to the 100 block of Glades Road in reference to a male and female arguing in a front yard. The male subject was unsteady on his feet, and showed several other signs of impairment. Officers arrested 33 year old Joshua Steele of Berea KY and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

Shoplifting Arrest: On 12/16/2017 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Store employees observed the subject conceal items in her purse, before attempting to leave the store. Officers arrested 48 year old Joyce Day of Richmond KY and charged her with Theft by Unlawful Taking Shoplifting.
