I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you don't have your tickets for the inauguration.

Obama has made it perfectly clear how he and his muslim friends feel about Israel. When that fool refuses to help them, as everyone knows he will, America is doomed.

January 20th, 2009 is set to be the last day of freedom in America, and the last day of security for the world. We will be fighting muslim terrorist in the streets of Berea before long.

But thats just alright with me.

With the eruption of violence in Israel, it's kind of bizarre that we've entered into a twilight zone between presidents. Obama doesn't want to say anything til he's on duty. And the Bush Administration in these final days seems like its just trying to run out the clock. And so, Hamas and the Israelis duke it out.

"I gotta go with the other dude on this one Andy. I too feel we have no president."

Fair enough, Anonymous: But our nation's chief executive, whoever it is, still needs our prayers. You never know. Things might actually turn out better than you think.

***gonna be the only president we've got.***

I wonder just how many people will not recognize Obama as the president. This could be a problem for him. It's one thing to have a president that half the population disagrees with as is the case of one party winning over the other.

But it's entirely different when more than half the population, since all the republicans and many of the democrats also will not will not even recognize the guy as the president.

I gotta go with the other dude on this one Andy. I too feel we have no president.

It's probably true that every generation elects a president that half the population thinks will bring about the downfall of the Republic.

The election of an Irish Catholic as president of the United States surely spelled doom for America in the eyes of many a Protestant.

The election of Ronald Reagan was a surefire prescription for nuclear war and a massive, Vietnam scale intervention in Central America, said many folks on the left.

Ever see the movie "The Best Man" ? It's a flick based on a Gore Vidal play starring Henry Fonda and Cliff Robertson as two candidates fighting for the presidential nomination.

At one point, Henry Fonda's character, realizing he can't get the nomination, pledges all his delegates to a little known but earnest politician. Fonda's dejected advisor cries, "Why him? He's nobody!"

Fonda answers stoically, "Well, he's somebody now."

I feel that way about Obama. Even if you didn't happen to think he was somebody before, he's somebody now.

Anonymous, either you trust the Founding Fathers, or you don't. We can't know just yet what kind of president Barack Obama will be. We do know that American democracy is, if nothing else, resilient.

It endured the Civil War. It endured the Great Depression, and the tulmult of the Civil Rights struggle. It survived the McCarthy hearings and Vietnam and Watergate. It endured a very controversial presidential election result in 2000 (which is no small thing).

If Mr. Obama turns out to be an ineffective president, our democracy can and will endure that, too.

But instead of darkly cheering on Mr. Obama's failure before he even takes the oath of office, maybe we should be praying that our new chief executive will have all the support and counsel he needs to effectively step into the shoes of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy and Reagan at a time when our country is facing crisis.

After all, come January 20, to borrow a phrase from Lyndon B. Johnson, Barack Obama is gonna be the only president we've got.

"Obama had a better game plan"

Obama spent over a billion dollars to win. With that much money paying organizations like Acorn. Lots of votes can be had by allowing multiple voting by the same people. But to allow America to be voted/cheated out of having a president. It's sad that America had to end this way. Where we are headed now, without any form of leadership, is anyones guess.

What I see happening is some crazy person will do Obama in for trying to destroy our country. This action will enflame the black people and start a race war.

But not like the Civil War, there will be no prisoners in this war. The blacks will be eliminated from this country and apartheid will be the new system.

However the blacks will not be held as slaves again. People will see no sense in risking their uprising in years to come. They will be exterminated like an infestation. This will be followed by the same action against the hispanics.

I predict that the voter registration books will be opened to determine exactly who voted for Obama and thus supported the demise of America. Those people will be treated as black people in keeping with the old saying when you lie with blacks, you are treated as blacks.

After a time, peace will again come to this country, and a new one party government will be ratified, excluding any and all forms or social welfare. Each and every American will have to work as part of the system should they want to eat. There will be no more drugs and alcohol to cloud the minds of innocents. Dopers and alcoholics will go down the same path as the rest of the blacks and black supporters.

I do hope I am wrong, but from the talk around the country, this will come to pass. The liberals said it. A change is coming. What they failed to see is that hell is coming with it.

Thanks for your post, anonymous.

Bear in mind that the video posted is satire. It's not a real news report.

And George W was never arrested for cocaine to my knowledge. He was merely charged with drinking an excessive amount of alcohol, then getting behind the wheel of a motor vehicle that weighs perhaps a couple of tons, that's all.

The video from 11/07/08 just really states on how stupid people really are. I read a few others saying that Bill Clinton was a draft dodger which is true, but how about George Jr. who enlisted in the gaurd to keep from going to Vietnam? Oh wait is this the same pres. who was arrested years ago for Cocaine? I dont condone nothing that the past presidents has done wrong ( like sleeping with family members - President Jefferson). People wants to talk stuff about everybody else, well how about if the tables were turned? Obama had a better game plan than McCain and now it's time to see what he can do for our country.

I am feeling a bit troubled about where we're headed, with the Ruskies starting to feel their oats and all. But let's see if this new team can take a crack at what's happening in the world.
